The ZDR6DP2-4X/150YM pressure reducing valve reduces the inlet pressure to a necessary outlet pressure through adjustment, and automatically stabilizes the outlet pressure by relying on the energy of the medium itself.

From a fluid mechanics perspective, the REXROTH pressure reducing valve is a throttling element; changing the throttling region alters the flow rate and kinetic energy, generating additional pressure losses to achieve pressure reduction.

Furthermore, through the regulation of the control and adjustment system, the fluctuations in the pressure downstream of the valve core and the spring force are balanced, maintaining a constant pressure downstream of the valve body within a certain error range.

• Functions and Functions: The ZDR6DP2-4X/150YM pressure reducing valve reduces the local resistance of water flow through the internal flow channel. The pressure reduction is automatically adjusted by the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet on both sides of the diaphragm and piston connected to the valve disc.

  When the medium operating temperature is high, a pilot-operated bellows pressure reducing valve or a pilot-operated piston pressure reducing valve is usually selected.

  When the medium is air or water (liquid), a direct-acting diaphragm pressure reducing valve or a pilot-operated diaphragm pressure reducing valve is generally preferred. When the working medium is steam, a pilot-operated piston pressure reducing valve or a pilot-operated bellows pressure reducing valve should be selected.

  For ease of use, adjustment, and maintenance, the pressure reducing valve is usually installed on a horizontal pipeline.

• Features and Advantages: The output pressure is adjustable. Under normal circumstances, the outlet pressure can be considered unaffected by the inlet pressure. No filter screen or bypass pipeline is needed, simplifying piping and saving a lot of space and piping costs.

Employing a direct-acting diaphragm structure, the internal structure is very simple and free from jamming. It can adapt to various pressure reduction requirements, especially in branch pipe pressure reduction systems. Pressure loss is low, with a pressure reduction ratio exceeding 10:1. Basic characteristics: Adjustment range: The pressure adjustment range mainly depends on the stiffness of the pressure regulating spring. Flow characteristics: This refers to the change in output pressure with varying output flow rate g when the input pressure is constant. The smaller the change in output pressure when the flow rate g changes, the better. Generally, the lower the output pressure, the smaller its fluctuation range and the smaller the change in output flow rate. Pressure characteristics: When the flow rate g is constant, this refers to the characteristic of output pressure fluctuation caused by fluctuations in input pressure. The smaller the output fluctuation, the better the performance of the pressure relief valve. To be essentially unaffected by changes in input pressure, the output pressure must be lower than the fixed value of the input pressure.

• Working Principle

• The REXROTH pressure reducing valve outputs pressure acting on the bottom surface of the diaphragm and the bottom surface of the valve disc. When the pressure exceeds the spring's set value, the spring is compressed, and the valve disc closes.

  Once there is no downstream water flow, the outlet pressure is essentially maintained at the set value (its change is only 8% of the inlet pressure change); when downstream is in use, the outlet pressure drops, the spring pushes and pulls the diaphragm, opening the pressure reducing valve.

  After the flow continues for a period of time, the opening of the pressure reducing valve produces a self-damping effect, making the opening and closing action tend to be smooth.
