I. Burkert Sensor Composition and Structure: Primarily categorized as oval gear sensors, inline sensors, and flow sensors, these are combined with S030 and S070 valve body accessories to form a complete Burkert flow meter product. Burkert inline sensors are also called inline flow switches.
II. Type Description: The 8022 electronic module can be used as a flow transmitter (only with "LowPower" type pulse sensors, models 8020, 8030, and 8070) or a pulse distributor (with all sensor types, models 8020, 8030, and 8070).
The module processes the sensor's output signal, displays the measured flow rate, and sends it to the signal converted output terminal either in mA or as pulses. When operating as a flow transmitter, the sensor's frequency signal is into a 4-20mA signal (dual-wire operation).
When operating as a pulse distributor, the input frequency is converted into an adjustable output frequency. The operating unit allows switching between the two operating modes.
III. Application Principle: Dual-wire (4-20mA)/Triple-wire (NPN/PNP) - Operation. Connectable to flow sensors 8020, 8030, or. 8070. Removable operating unit. Type SE10 - Transmitter for INLINE sensor accessories. Type SE10 is compatible with S010 type sensor accessories with rings for flow measurement (see datasheet for 8010 type).
Type SE11 - Transmitter with impeller based on magnetic measurement principle for flow measurement. Type SE11 is for connection with S012 type accessories (see datasheet for 8011 type flow measurement device). 8012 type flow measurement device).
