The Burkert 8020 insertion flow sensor is specifically designed for neutral, slightly corrosive liquids free of solid particles. This Burkert sensor consists of a turbine and a Burkert transmitter.
As liquid flows through the pipe, the turbine begins to rotate, generating a frequency signal proportional to the flow rate within the transmitter (Hall type or Hall "low power" type). The Burkert insertion fitting system allows for easy installation of this sensor in pipes ranging from DN15 to DN400.
The Burkert flow sensor can be used with other Burkert devices, such as the 8025 T Burkert flow transmitter or the 8025B Burkert batch controller (panel or wall mount), the 8032 Burkert split flow sensor, etc., and can also be used with other compatible devices (such as PLCs).

Burkert flow meters generate pulse frequency signals proportional to the flow velocity, which can be processed by a Bürkert transmitter/controller.
Economically integrated into piping systems without the need for additional piping, the Burkert 8020 insertion flow meter can be used with the following products: Type 8611eCONT-ROL Burkert universal regulator, Type 8025 Burkert insertion turbine flow meter, or bulk controllers.
When ordering a complete set of Burkert 8020 sensors, please note: A Burkert 8020 sensor set includes the 8020 Burkert sensor and the S020 Burkert insertion fitting (pages 418-425). Standard supply includes an FKM seal; standard supply also includes one black EPDM seal and one green FKM seal.
