Single Row Angular Contact Ball Bearing

This type of bearing has a contact angle, making it suitable for bearing axial loads in one direction or combined loads. Structurally, it separates axially after bearing radial loads, so two bearings are used opposite each other, or two or more are used in pairs.

Single row angular contact ball bearings can use preload methods to improve rigidity, therefore, they are suitable for machine tool spindles and other applications requiring high rotational accuracy. Generally, angular contact ball bearing cages with contact angles of 30° (designation A) and 40° (designation B) are specified according to Table.

1. However, synthetic resin cages or polyamide molded cages are also used depending on the conditions. The basic rated loads listed in the dimension table are based on the cage classifications in Table 1.

Paired Double-Shaft Angular Contact Ball Bearings

A bearing consisting of two sets of angular contact ball bearings combined into a pair is called a paired double-shaft angular contact ball bearing. Typically, paired double-shaft bearings are composed of identical angular contact ball shafts.

Types of paired double-shaft bearings include face-to-face double-shaft bearings with front-fitting outer rings (DF type), back-fitting double-shaft bearings (DB type), and side-by-side double-shaft bearings arranged in the same direction back-to-back (DF type).

DF and DB type paired double-shaft bearings can withstand radial loads and bidirectional axial loads, while the DT type is used for applications with large unidirectional axial loads.

Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearing

A double row angular contact ball bearing with the inner and outer rings each forming a single unit. It can withstand axial loads in two directions and has torque load capacity. It can be used as a fixed-end bearing. It uses a stamped cage.

4 Point Contact Ball Bearing

The inner ring is divided into two parts, allowing one bearing to withstand axial loads in two directions. With a contact angle of 35°, it has a high axial load capacity and is suitable for pure axial loads or combined loads with large axial loads.

It uses a machined brass alloy cage.

Rolling bearings are precision components and should be used with great care. Even high-quality bearings will not achieve the desired effect if used improperly. The following are precautions for bearing use:

(1) Keep the bearing and its surrounding environment clean: Even tiny dust particles invisible to the naked eye can have adverse effects on the bearing. Therefore, keep the surrounding area clean to prevent dust from entering the bearing;

(2) Use with care: Strong impacts on the bearing during use can cause scratches or indentations, leading to accidents.

In severe cases, it can cause cracks and breaks, which must be taken seriously;

(3) Use special bearing tools: Special tools must be used and cannot be arbitrarily substituted;

(4) Prevent bearings from rusting: When operating bearings, hand sweat can cause rusting, so be sure to use clean hands, wear gloves, and be aware of corrosive gases.
